Premmie hat 3 of 3

Here's the 3rd preemie hat for my friend who's having triplets.
This is a little bear hat... how cute, if I may say so myself. My trusty Piglet has been a wonderful model for me!
The hat is based on a pattern I found here. I made the ears myself, not that it's hard.

Make 2

magic ring, sc 4

2sc around (8)

bind off and leave a long tail to sew in

Just make sure both sides are balanced!

So for the 2nd premmie hat for my friend's triplet. I did the puppy hat with droopy ears.
I sewed the pair of ears 3rd row from the brim and match it on both sides.
So, again, the hat is based on this pattern, and I made the ears.

Make 2 of these:
Ch 4

R1 sc from 2nd ch from the hook

R2 ch 2, hdc across (3)

R3 ch 2, hdc in the same, and hdc across (4)

R4 ch 2, hdc in the same, and hdc across (4)

SC all the way around

bind and leave a long tail for sewing

So a friend of mine is going to have triplets... via good o' natural way. Since we know that they are going to have 3 girls, I made 3 hats for them.

I've been playing around with premmie patterns because work has a donation program to a local hospital, so I have been making hats anyway. For her 3 babies, I made animal themed hats.

This is a little kitty hat. The base of the hat is the same, I used the pattern here, but for the ears, I made it up myself.

Make 2:

R1 magic ring, sc 4

R2 2sc each

R3-5 sc each

leave a long tail and sew it on that hat
