Tina's Hat (kids version)

So, a while back... yes, I know I've been neglecting the blog. But doesn't mean I haven't been crocheting. As a matter of fact, I've been busy crocheting more than anything else.

That said, a while back, I posted the adult version of Tina's hat. My boss saw me packing it as one of the care package item in Taiwan, she wanted one for each of her kids.

Since one of them has darker hair, she wanted a lighter color hat, and the other one has lighter hair, she wanted a darker color hat.

Done and done.... ta da!

As you can see both girls got their own hat, I'm sure they will out grow them quickly, but thought I put the pattern out here:

Magic Ring, sc 12
R1 hdc 12
R2 2 hdc per stitch (24)
R3 2 hdc, 1 hdc next (36)
R4 2 hdc, 2 hdc next (48)
R5 2 hdc, 3 hdc next (54)
R6-12 hdcs around
R13 change color, hdc around (54)
R14 back to the original color, sc around (54)

Flower is the same as the adult version.
